Boy or Girl?
After all the congratulations following the announcement of pregnancy...begin the questions...boy or girl?
I then covered them in chocolate and decorated them...just hope I remember which is which.!
On the day of the scan, the sonographer kept tight-lipped and whispered the gender just as we left the room. As soon as we got home, I gave J&R each a lollipop for the big reveal:-
We are in the blessed position of having one of each, but for practical reasons wanted to find out. J thought boy, R wanted a girl, but then changed her mind to boy and Rob thought boy...I had a feeling it was a girl!
The night before the scan, I baked some cake pops...one batch of blue and one batch of pink.

Center Parcs Family Blogger Club
We have just entered to become part of the Center Parcs Family Blogger Club. This is the first big adventure we have entered into. We had a great time filming the video...think it only took us 7 tries! I've posted it on Twitter...fingers crossed.
I'm hoping that the more we do this...the better we get! It would be great to be picked. I know that I am very new to blogging, but this would be a great start and introduce us to so many people.

Missing Words
They say that picture speaks more than a thousand words. I would agree, but sometimes, they miss those words.
I took this shot on my iphone, and just as I was lining it up, R looked at the screen and said "Look, that is us...we are all best friends".

First Big Rollercoaster
Today was a memory to be recorded! J had his first turn on a big Rollercoaster. He's usually quite hesitant on fast rides, but today he conquered the Vampire ride at Chessington!
We'd spoken about it a few times in the last couple of weeks, since J realised that he was tall enough. We had to queue for a bit, and J was very quiet. I kept asking if he was alright and he kept smiling and saying "Yes".
We were next in the queue and J had gone very pale! I checked 1 last time and he assured me he was fine. When we sat down, got strapped in and J and I held hands. As we started moving, I could feel J's grip tightening...we climbed up the slope slowly...the grip tightened a bit more...then we were off! J was screaming...but I wasn't sure if it was in fear or elation!
2 minutes later and we were back in the station. As we climbed out J turned to me and said "That was fantastic...can we go again!"
